ARE ALL BOATS CAPTAINED?
Yes, Captain Chris "Red Beard" has over 15 years of experience on the Guadalupe River, and knows his way around the large rocks under the water and the low water areas. We also want you to have the best time possible with the least amount of stress. So, everyone can enjoy the cruise and no one has to drive.
CAN I RENT JUST THE BOAT WITH OUT A CAPTAIN?
No, all our boats include a driver and fuel. We want everyone to enjoy the river and not have to worry about navigating around the big rocks and low water areas.
AM I REQUIRED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?
Yes, we are often out on cruises or delivering kayaks and paddle boards.
HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?
Just give us a call (210) 823-8347 to book your reservation. We do require a credit card and partial payment when you book, so please have your credit card number ready when you call.
DO YOU RENT JET SKIS?
No, we do not rent out jet skis. We do now offer captained jet ski tube rides.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN FIT ON THE BOATS?
Both boats have a capacity based on weight, so the amount of people that can fit is based on the AVERAGE adult, if there are more children than adults, you can fit more people. If you have larger adults, the boat won't be able to hold as many people.
Pontoon- on average 9-10 people
Ski Boat- on average 8-10 people
I AM RENTING A HOUSE ON THE RIVER, CAN YOU PICK US UP AT OUR DOCK?
Yes, depending on what lake you are on and where it is located, we can pick you up and drop you off at your private dock. That is easiest for everyone. Otherwise we will meet at Red Beard's Landing, or a public boat ramp.
WHAT IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER DURING THE TIME I BOOKED?
We reschedule your cruise/rental for a different time/day. We usually wait until the day of your cruise to determine if we need to reschedule.
CAN I RENT KAYAKS AND PADDLE BOARDS FOR MULTIPLE DAYS?
Yes, definitely! We have rented both for several days to a week. We leave all paddles and lifejackets with the kayaks and paddle boards and pick everything up at the end of your rental. Payment is due at time of drop off.
CAN I RENT TWO BOATS AT THE SAME TIME?
Yes, we can usually accommodate one group renting multiple boats.
ARE LIFEJACKETS AND PADDLES INCLUDED IN OUR RENTAL?
Yes, all boats have enough lifejackets for adults and children and all paddle boards and kayak rentals include paddles and lifejackets.
WHERE DO I MEET FOR BOAT, KAYAK OR PADDLE BOARD RENTALS?
We can deliver to your lake house, Red Beard's Landing, Starcke Park, public boat ramp, or you can pick up the rentals if you are out of our delivery radius.
CAN I BRING FOOD AND DRINKS ON THE BOATS, KAYAKS, AND PADDLE BOARDS?
Yes! You are welcome to bring food and drinks (yes, even alcoholic ones) onto any rental. No glass bottles are allowed. Please keep the rentals clean and throw away all trash.
ARE DOGS ALLOWED ON THE BOATS?
No, unfortunately we cannot allow dogs on the boats. Dogs are allowed on the kayaks and paddle boards, just keep in mind you might have higher chances of tipping over with a dog on board.
